Péter Sárfalvi

Four-time world, six-time European and six-time Hungarian individual champion. Member of the Hungarian Olympic team in 1996 and 2000.

As a child Péter Sárfalvi used to be a water polo and swimming enthusiast. However, he chose to pursue another not in the least easy sport, pentathlon. His talents were soon realized which earned him a position in the select youth division. He won 26 pentathlon competitions, and he was a medallist 52 times. Still a sportsman, he graduated as a pentathlon coach at the University of Physical Education as well as obtained a degree in marketing at the College of Commerce, Catering and Tourism.

In 2003 he retired from his sporting activities and began his career as a sports news presenter on TV. From 2005 he has been a news presenter and has become an authentic and emblematic public personality.
